Community Involvement Group Projects
Everyone - every person and every organization in the Bradford on Avon Community AreaThe Community Area consists of Bradford on Avon and the villages of Westwood, Winsley, Limpley Stoke, Monkton Farleigh, Holt, Staverton, Wingfield, South Wraxall - needs to be involved. The Community Involvement Group is reaching out to:
- Individuals - at events in Bradford-on-Avon

- Local businesses - with visits to premises encouraging energy monitor use
- Local schools - by attending assemblies
- Parish councils - through giving talks
Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon Open Meetings for 2011

Eco-cars – A Real Proposition?
Find out more at our March Open Meeting when we hope to have the Wessex Water Bio-Bug visiting us. If you have questions on bio-digestion and the like, help us organise this event so we make best use of our speaker – use our Contact page by clicking here. As usual, the Open Meeting will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, 19:30 pm - date Monday 21st March. More information will be available later in the year – check the What's Happening page.
Interaction, Education, Entertainment
On 18th April 2011, we have planned a talk from Dan Smith and Magdalena Francke regarding art as a vehicle for raising awareness of sustainable development. When we have more details we will include them in the What's Happening section.
BaleHaus – the Bath University Sustainable Home
For a change in May, we plan to visit the BaleHaus on the Bath University campus.
A Village Meet
Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon serves the whole of the Bradford on Avon Community AreaThe Community Area consists of Bradford on Avon and the villages of Westwood, Winsley, Limpley Stoke, Monkton Farleigh, Holt, Staverton, Wingfield, South Wraxall, so in June we plan to hold our meeting in one of the villages.
