BoA solar PV farm now up & running

Really exciting news - the solar PV farm on the Moulton Estate is now up and running.  It is a 5 megawatt installation covering several acres of Kingston Farm and is set to generate enough clean energy to power between 1,000 and 2,000 houses, at least 20% of Bradford on Avon's households. It is one of the biggest installations of its type in all of Wiltshire, putting BoA firmly on the solar PV map.

Even better news is that 100 kilowatts of this is being fed directly into Anthony Best Dynamics, an engineering company based in buildings on the estate, making its operation 100% carbon neutral.

This is absolutley brilliant news for Bradford on Avon and a massive step in our bid to create a carbon neutral town and community area.  It's a huge confidence boost in achieving our 2050 aspirations.
