Transport Group Projects
Transport is essential to both the economy and to our quality of life. It also consumes vast quantities of resources, takes up large amounts of land space and produces vast amounts of pollution.
As such there are many aspects to be covered, and the Transport Group has been working with the Priority for People Action Group on a number of areas including
- A Safer Community – creating a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists
- A Historic Core Zone – to address road traffic issues which impact on our historic town
- A Connected Community – seeking to promote alternative means of transport to the car
Previous projects include traffic surveys and work on a cycle network for Bradford-on-Avon town.
