Waste - What else can I do?
- Before shopping, ask: Do I really need this? If you are changing your eating habits and re-using more, you may find you don’t need to buy so many new things.
- Could we make it to zero? Use the Act on CO² website to learn how some areas are working towards zero waste
- Start Composting – get some help from Bradford on Avon’s very own compost ambassadors Sheila Blethyn or Carol and Richard Craft - email us for more details
- Small or no garden, but want to reduce waste – try a Green Cone (Wiltshire Council have been sponsoring special offers) or maybe a wormery.
- Want to to lend or borrow everyday objects, etc then try the following sites
- Take action, then share what you have done with others: E.g. talk to your neighbour, or write a local story for us.
