Great news, 573 people and organisations have now signed the 2050 Carbon Neutral Declaration.  This is a fantastic achievement and shows a real commitment to reducing our carbon emissions.

We're now aiming for 1,000.  Can we do it? Of course we can!  If everyone gets just one other person to sign it's easy.  Let's try.

CFB Community Interest Company

CFB is now up and running as a not for profit Community Interest Company, limited by guarantee, which gives us a solid legal basis for future projects we may wish to carry out. Quite a few members have already signed up, which is good news.  If you would like to become a CIC member it's very easy to do and will only cost you a one off membership fee of £5.

Find out more about BoACA's exciting work on their new, solar powered website.  Their field is really developing well with lots of produce growing on it, masterminded by Nicola and Cally, the 2 part time growers.

There are regular drop in sessions and anyone is welcome to go along to see what's happening or join in.  Please support them, it's a great initiative and a big step towards getting even more locally grown fruit and veg. into the BoA area.

You can now borrow an energy saving monitor from the library for 3 weeks.  These are excellent gadgets for seeing just how much electricity you use, what it costs you and, by being more careful with your electricity use  you can check the savings you make.  You just need to be a member of the library to borrow one.

Some new Local Stories have just been added, about solar panels, composting and using the train for holidays.
